CHENNAI: Representatives of two U.K. universities will visit Chennai to interview candidates this week for the September 2006 intake.
Eleanor Raw, International Officer, and Dr. Sa'ad Mansoor from the School of Informatics of the University of Wales, Bangor, will meet with candidates on Tuesday from 10.30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The highlight of the University of Wales is its MBA programme, which is being offered to freshers with minimum or no work experience.
On Wednesday, Robert Willis, International Officer of the University of Dundee, will meet candidates between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Rated the top university in U.K. for structural engineering, the University of Dundee was recently awarded the title `UK's fastest developing university for enterprise and innovation'. Dundee is also known for groundbreaking research in RADAR, beta-blockers and anti-cancer drugs etc.
Its staff also boasts scientists including a Nobel prize winner and people from the Royal Society. Scholarships are being offered close to about 3,000 pounds.
