University of Leicester offers admission |

Coimbatore: Students interested in studying at the University of Leicester will be able to meet Clare Mytton, International Officer of the University, at the Coimbatore office of Campus UK between 10.30 a.m. and 5 p.m. on May 13.
A release said that Ms. Mytton would counsel prospective students and offer spot admissions to eligible students, for the September 2006 intake. Those interested could contact Rajagopal, Coordinator, Campus UK Office, on 5363321 or 5363322. Leicester University was known for research in deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) genetic fingerprinting, as well as space research activities in association with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). It was one of 17 British universities to feature in a study of the world's top 200 institutions.
The University offered over 140 postgraduate programmes in areas such as pure and applied sciences, arts and social sciences, business and management, engineering, information technology, life and health sciences.
