CHENNAI: Representatives of three universities from the United Kingdom will be in Chennai to interview students seeking admissions for the September 2006 intake.
Mahesh Yanambakkamy, International Officer, and Suresh
Kumaralingam, Regional Head, University of Luton, will be available from 10.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday. Located in London, the university has been awarded excellent teaching scores for media, biosciences, psychology, nursing, and design and building.
The business school, which offers programs such as MBA, HRM, e-commerce international business etc., too has been awarded good teaching scores.
The university has forged links with more than 5,000 companies in the UK to provide training in accredited postgraduate programmes for industry.
Next Saturday between 1 p.m. and 6.30 p.m., Kathleen Watt, Programme Leader, University of Lincoln, will meet students. A modern university based in the city of Lincoln, the university boasts of a strong faculty in the departments of art, architecture and design (accredited by the RIBA and ARB), business and law, health, life and social sciences, media and humanities, and technology.
It also offers an MBA programme, besides a master's programme in journalism.
The International Officer of Glasgow Caledonian University, Joanne Muldoon, will be available on June 19 to interact with students. Located in Glasgow, Scotland, the university offers a multicultural environment. It has a strong base in departments such as computing, engineering and design, life sciences, business studies, and built and natural environments.
