Visas in Canada

The cost of processing a Visa is approximately Rs.8500 INR. Student visa is valid for the duration of the program of study. A student should apply as early as possible. Usually, it takes 15 working days to get a visa if the profile of the student is accepted.

An amount of $10,000 CAD is required to be shown towards the one year living expense for visa issuance.

Basic Requirements for Canada visa:
1) Should satisfy Academic & English Language requirements
2) Should get Letter of Acceptance ( LOA) from Canadian Institutions
3) Should have enough money covering the course of study and living expenses in Canada
4) Should apply for visa before the deadlines. Advisable to apply 3 months before the course start date and depart 1 month before the course start date.

Types of Visa:
Documents required for processing SPP category visa
1) Current & valid passport
2) 2 Photographs
3) Letter of Acceptance
4) Visa application forms which is dully filled
5) Take medical test and produce eMedical receipt
6) IELTS (6.0 with no band less than 5.5)
7) Photocopy of Academic documents (submitted for admission)
8) Wire transfer receipt from bank (proof for First semester tuition fees payment)
9) Guaranteed Investment Certificate GIC (for living expense)
10) Work experience letters with payslips (if)

Documents required for processing NON SPP category visas
1) Current & valid passport
2) 2 Photographs
3) Letter of Acceptance
4) Visa application forms which is dully filled
5) Take medical test and get eMedical receipt
6) IELTS
7) Photocopy of Academic documents (submitted for admission)
8) Copy of receipts for payment from the college
9) Education Loan letter (covering tuition fees, living expense & travel expense for 1st year). Provide source of income.
10) Work experience letters with payslips (if)
11) Form 16 / IT returns for salaried employees
12) Reference letter (who providing financial assistance)
13) Visa refusal letters (if any)
14) Shares & Investment certificate, FDs, Postal Deposits, LIC certificates
